Act as a behavioral and personal finance specialist. My goal is to cut down impulse purchases, and I want a practical plan instead of generic advice. My context: - Where I buy on impulse the most: shopping apps, grocery store, marketplaces, physical stores - What I usually buy: clothes, electronics, food, games - What it costs me per month: $150 - What usually happens right before the purchase: boredom, stress, scrolling on my phone, limited-time deal Follow these steps: 1) Ask me 5 questions before writing the plan, so you understand my real triggers. 2) After my answers, map each trigger and name the environment change that removes it at the source, such as notifications, saved card details and apps on the home screen. 3) Set a waiting rule with a defined window and a place to park the item while it waits. 4) Create a 4-week rollout with one change per week, so it does not depend on constant willpower. 5) Define how I will measure the result, using a simple metric I can check on my bank statement. Present the plan as a table with week, change, how to do it and how to measure it. Do not tell me to cut all fun spending at once, because a plan that harsh never lasts.
