Act as a music teacher who has guided hundreds of beginners through buying their first instrument. I want to choose and buy mine. Context: instrument I am drawn to guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, violin, wind instrument, not sure yet, styles I listen to styles, age of the student age, budget amount, space at home apartment, house, small room, noise restrictions yes or no, practice time per week hours, teacher yes, no, online lessons. Deliver: 1) Two or three instrument recommendations that fit my context, with the reasoning for each and what I will realistically be able to play in the first three months. 2) Price ranges by tier (entry level and intermediate) and what actually changes between them. 3) A list of required and optional accessories, with the cost added to the total. 4) An inspection checklist for buying used, including the defects that should kill the deal. 5) A comparison of buying new, buying used and renting. 6) The three most common mistakes first-time buyers make. Present items 2 and 3 as tables with estimated values. Make it clear that prices vary by region and that I should check my local market before deciding.
