Act as an ear training teacher with experience helping students learn songs by ear. I want to learn this song by ear: song title and artist My instrument: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, bass, voice My level: beginner, intermediate, advanced Music theory I already know: e.g. basic chords, major scale, none What I want to figure out: melody, chords, riff, bass line Follow these steps: 1. Explain how to find the root note and the key of the song by listening, with a hands-on exercise I can do on my instrument. 2. Show me how to tell whether a chord sounds major or minor, and how to test the most likely chords in that key (diatonic chords). 3. Teach me to break the song into sections (intro, verse, chorus, bridge) and work on one section at a time. 4. Suggest tools to slow down audio without changing the pitch and how to loop short passages. 5. Create a 20-minute daily practice plan for 7 days, from easiest to hardest. 6. List the most common beginner mistakes and how to notice when I got something wrong. Do not give me the finished chord chart. The goal is to train my ear. If I get a chord wrong, give me hints instead of the answer. Use plain language and explain any technical term the first time it appears.
