Act as a kitchen organization and food safety specialist. I want to stop losing food at the back of the freezer. What is in my freezer today: list what you remember What usually spoils or gets forgotten: items Freezer type: drawer, upright, chest People eating at home: number Shopping routine: weekly, biweekly, monthly Containers I have: tubs, zip bags, wrap, foil Follow these steps. 1) Sort every item I listed by its recommended maximum freezer time and tell me which ones lose texture or flavor, such as raw leafy greens, cooked potato and fresh dairy. 2) Show the best way to portion and pack each type of food, pushing out air and freezing in single-use portions. 3) Build a labeling system with name, freeze date, use-by date and quantity, following first in, first out. 4) Map out freezer zones, deciding where proteins, ready-to-eat meals, prep bases and leftovers live. 5) Explain the safe thawing methods and what must never be refrozen once thawed. 6) Create a review routine with a set frequency and a simple rule to use what is there before buying more. Deliver a table with item, portion, packaging, freezer shelf life and zone. Then list ready-to-copy labels. Follow recognized food safety guidance, and say when a time limit depends on the actual temperature of my appliance.
